A-List Musician and boss of Empire Mate Entertainment, Banky W alongside Julius D’Genius Agwu, Joseph Benjamin, Yaw, Akpororo, Lepacious Bose, O.C Ukeje and Femi Jacobs will join Tim Godfrey and the Xtreme to set the stage for a fusion of dance, drama and high energy music at “The Journey Begins” taking place at the Shell Hall, Muson Centre on the 28th September, 2013.
Directed by Joseph Ofili “The Journey Begins” is a movement geared towards building individuals who understand that mistakes, challenges and setbacks are a crucial part of the human experience and existence as well as young people who possess the strength to embrace them when they happen and the courage to move beyond them to live a worthwhile existence.
Primarily set within a law court setting, the story will be delivered through intriguing hybrid of drama, music and dance. Then it follows the trajectory of each character’s peculiar emotional dilemma, leading to a thought provoking resolution, before climaxing in a high energy musical performance. Speaking further on the event, Tim Godfrey, the President of RoX said “In a time like this, we need to create an atmosphere where we can reach out to our youth with a message even in the midst of the mess, that they can turn a new leaf today, and let “The Journey Begins” again for them towards a better life.
